WHAT IS THE PARENTS’ ROLE?

ISBerne Online is committed to helping parents become actively involved in their child’s education by providing tools that regularly update them on their child’s achievements.

Helping Your Child Succeed

As a parent, you, or another designated adult, will be a ‘learning coach’ and will be able to follow your child’s progress via an observer account.

You will receive weekly progress reports from their homeroom teacher.

Your child’s ISBerne learning coach and a school administrator will help you adjust to your new role and will answer any questions you may have along the way.

The Learning Coach

Two learning coaches support ISBerne Online students throughout their studies.

A learning coach assist with student’s non-academic questions, guides them as they learn to manage their time independently and works with school advisors, teachers and the student to select courses.

One of the learning coaches works from the Gümligen campus and will provide the essential link between the student and the school community. Either a parent, guardian or other adult will work as the second learning coach wherever you reside.
